SERIDY
SERIDY is a platform connecting individuals with home service providers (gardening, handyman, cleaning, etc.) operating in Portugal, particularly in the Madeira, Porto Santo and Azores regions.

Nature of the platform
SERIDY is solely a connecting platform. The platform does not provide any service directly and does not employ providers. Providers are independent professionals who offer their services through the platform.
Platform responsibility
SERIDY is not responsible for damages, losses or harm caused by providers during the execution of their services. The platform acts only as a connecting and payment intermediary. Complaints should be addressed directly to the provider.
Provider responsibility
The provider is solely responsible for their services, tools, professional insurance and compliance with applicable standards. The provider is responsible for any damage caused during the execution of their service.
Payments and commissions
SERIDY charges a 20% commission on each transaction. The remainder (80%) is transferred to the provider by bank transfer after the service is completed. Payments are secured via Stripe.
Intellectual property
All platform elements (brand, logo, content, design) are the exclusive property of SERIDY. Any reproduction without authorization is prohibited.
Applicable law
These legal notices are governed by Portuguese law. In case of dispute, Portuguese courts have sole jurisdiction.
Cancellations and refunds
The client may cancel a booking free of charge before the provider confirms it. After confirmation, cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before the service date, with a full refund. For cancellations requested less than 48 hours before the service, the refund is 50%. The provider may decline a pending request without penalty. SERIDY processes refunds via Stripe within 5 to 10 business days. In case of a dispute between the client and the provider, SERIDY acts as an intermediary to facilitate resolution but is not responsible for the execution of the service.
Payments to providers
SERIDY transfers to providers the net amount owed to them (80% of the amount paid by the client) by bank transfer to the IBAN indicated in their profile, within 7 business days after the service is validated by the client. The platform commission (20%) is retained by SERIDY as consideration for the use of the platform. Stripe processing costs are borne by SERIDY. In the event of a dispute or an unvalidated service, payment may be suspended until resolution.
Provider tax obligations
Each service provider is responsible for declaring their income to the competent tax authorities, in accordance with the legislation in force in Portugal. SERIDY assumes no responsibility for the declaration, settlement or payment of taxes relating to income earned by providers through the platform. The provider undertakes to comply with all tax and social security obligations applicable to their activity.
